Hello and welcome to the scripture of the day] today i will be doing a reading from Matthew chapter 27 verse 30 to 56, this is because it is good Friday and in remembrance of our Lord Yeshua and his sacrifice as the lamb of God

And two robbers were crucified with him, one at his right hand and one at his left.

But those who were passing by were reviling him and shaking their heads;

And they were saying, “The One who destroys The Temple and builds it in three days, save yourself, if you are The Son of God, and come down from the cross.”

Thus also the Chief Priests were mocking with the Scribes and the Elders and the Pharisees.

And they were saying, “He saved others, he cannot save himself; if he is The King of Israel, let him descend now from the cross and we will trust in him.”

“He trusted on God, let him save him now, if he delights in him, for he has said, ‘I am The Son of God.’ “

Thus also those robbers who were crucified with him were taunting him.

But from the sixth hour there was darkness over the whole land until the ninth hour.

And toward the ninth hour Yeshua cried with a loud voice and he said, “Oh God, oh God! Why have you forsaken me?”

Those people who were standing there, when they had heard, they were saying, “This one has called Elijah.”

At that moment one of them ran and took a sponge and filled it with vinegar and placed it on a reed and gave a drink to him.

But the rest were saying, “Let him alone; we shall see if Elijah comes to save him.”

But Yeshua cried again with a loud voice, and his Spirit departed.

And at once the curtain entrance of The Temple was ripped in two from top to bottom. The earth was shaken and the rocks were split.

Tombs were opened, and many bodies of the Saints who were sleeping arose.

And they came out, and after his resurrection, they entered the Holy City, and they appeared to many.

And the Centurion and those who were guarding Yeshua, when they saw the quake and those things that happened, they were very afraid, and they said, “Truly, this was The Son of God.”

But there were also many women there who had seen from a distance, these who had come after Yeshua from Galilee and had ministered to him.

One of them was Mary Magdaline and Mary the mother of Yaqob and of Yohannan the mother of the sons of Zebedee.

Thank you for joining me today and next week at 12 pm I shall continue with the book of revelations. So I will leave you with this, Love God and Love Each other, Amen, bye for now.
