The 2nd Commandment

by Samantha Kennedy

Hello I am Cardinal Kennedy and welcome to the Sunday service in UK. So I shall start.

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, Amen. Therefore let us pray in this way:

“Our Father who act in Heaven, hallowed be thy name, Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth, as it is in Heaven.

Give us this day our daily bread, And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us.

And lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil, for Thine is the Kingdom the power and the glory,

for the ever and ever. Amen.

I would like to ask now for prayer requests, which you can place in the comments and I will pray for them after the service.

Now I would like to recite the creed.

I believe in God the Father almighty, creator of the heavens and earth.

I believe in Yeshua the Christ, His transcendent Son, our Lord.

He was conceived by the power of the Holy Spirit and born to mankind.

He was crucified, died, and was buried.

He descended to the dead; on the third day he rose again.

He ascended into heaven and was seated at the right hand of The Father.

He has come again to judge the living and the dead.

I believe in the Word of God, the returned Christ, Lord RayEl.

In His great commandment: Love God, Love Each Other.

In the holy Ecumenical Order of Christ.

The forgiveness of sins.

The resurrection of the body and life everlasting.

Amen.

The teaching for today’s service is The Second Commandment. I shall begin…

  1. The 2nd Commandment

Exodus 20:4-5 (JPS) – “Thou shalt not make unto thee a graven image, nor any manner of likeness, of any thing that is in heaven above,

or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth; thou shalt not bow down unto them, nor serve them; for I the

LORD thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that

hate Me;”

Shortly after this, Moses is ordered by YHVH to make a brazen serpent.

Numbers 21:5-9 (NIV)

5 “they spoke against God and against Moses, and said, ‘Why have you brought us up out of Egypt to die in the wilderness? There is no bread!

There is no water! And we detest this miserable food!’”

6 “Then the LORD sent venomous snakes among them; they bit the people and many Israelites died.”

7 “The people came to Moses and said, ‘We sinned when we spoke against the LORD and against you. Pray that the LORD will take the snakes

away from us.’ So Moses prayed for the people.”

8 “The LORD said to Moses, ‘Make a snake and put it up on a pole; anyone who is bitten can look at it and live.’”

9 “So Moses made a bronze snake and put it up on a pole. Then when anyone was bitten by a snake and looked at the bronze snake, they lived.”

Within a few centuries, the Israelites began to worship the brazen serpent.

2 Kings 18:3-4 (BSB) – “And he did what was right in the eyes of the LORD, just as his father David had done. He removed the high places,

shattered the sacred pillars, and cut down the Asherah poles. He also demolished the bronze snake called Nehushtanb that Moses had made,

for up to that time the Israelites had burned incense to it.”

Now we need to look at what Christians have done with the image of the Crucifix and how it relates to what I`ve previously stated.

Christ has returned, and he is breaking the idol of the cult of the Romans.

I would like to add this now to also make it very clear what has also been done. Churches today especially the Roman Catholic Church

display statues of the Apostles and other Saints. These were originally Greek statues, like of Zeus etc which were re-named.

Some statues deliberately made to represent the Apostles and our Holy Mother also.

What is done is against the very Law of the second commandment. Yet, many of the followers of those churches have NEVER stepped forward to tell those churches to stop.

Do you think that the Saints EVER wanted statues made to represent them?.

Nor any incense offered in praise of them ? NO they did not because they served the Lord and wanted Glory for God and not themselves.

Is it right to still have the wooden cross with the Lord`s image in continued suffering?.

NO, it is NOT right and that is why the Old priesthood have failed the Lord and broken God`s 2nd law.

This is something for you all to think about. The Lord said “Come out of those churches”. Leave those lying Priests.

Now, that the Lord raised a New Priesthood and the fact the Lord returned in 2011, You should be following the Messiah directly

rather than those dead churches.

So you should be bringing others to the Lord, To Love God and to Love each other, To be as ONE under God.

Here endeth the teaching.

I will now give the closing Blessing =

May our Heavenly Father bless and protect you.

May He face you and shed His light and grace upon you.

May He grant you peace, joy and everlasting love. Amen

Please join our fellow clergy later for their Sunday Services.

And I will say on last thing – Love God Love Each Other Amen.
