Truth…what is truth? Truly speaking, according to a Google search it is defined as “that which is true or in accordance with fact or reality” or “a fact or belief that is accepted as true.” There are many sayings about truth as well such as, “the truth hurts, doesn’t it”, “be sure you’re right, then go ahead”, and “just because everybody is doing something doesn’t make it right.” Clearly truth can be incorporated into many facets of daily life but the REAL question is, are we all sincerely seeking the truth? If we are not seeking the truth incessantly, how can we know that we are accurately living in truth?

For starters, why is truth so imperative? Ephesians 6:14 tells us the pragmatic metaphor that truth was part of the armor of God as the “belt of truth.” This belt for a warrior would hold useful tools, and would be a way to keep his sword readily by his side while helping hold everything together. This was all in order to protect his life. In a practical sense of today, if we do not have the truth readily available it could harm our lives. If we live in a world that is the opposite of truth, is our perception of reality accurate? – By definition, no. We currently live in a world where lies and scams run rampant and the bad can seemingly overweigh the good. Our societies are crumbling before our eyes and now is the time to know and continually seek the truth! We cannot gain back the past, but we can learn and have the present moment to make those changes. Many texts and ideologies have been redacted and distorted over the ages, especially when it comes to religion and man’s interpretation. The sad certainty is that man will never be able to live in peace and harmony until the Messiah takes His throne to correct the greed, violence, and powers of this current worldly government. Yeshua spoke these eye opening words in John 8:32 so long ago saying that “the truth shall set ye free.” We are but slaves to society, chained and shackled by government control, propaganda, and news filled with hate and violence. This is not what our Heavenly Father intends for his children, which is why His Son will take the ruling reigns of this world’s powers out of their hands very soon.

Until that time, we are given the time to SEEK truth in all matters. In Psalm 25:5, even David proclaimed and pleaded for divine truth:

Lead me in your truth and teach me, for you are the God of my salvation; for you I wait all the day long.

We were told in Matthew 7:7 that it is possible to find whatever it is that needs clarity:

Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you.

In asking for truth we must also ask for wisdom in which it says it will be given liberally to us in James 1:5

If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.

We can always ask, pray, and act because we were given free will. The Heavenly Father wants His children to GROW, and growth is not an easy endeavor.

A key to all of this is, to continually pray for divine guidance of knowledge, wisdom, understanding, and discernment especially in regards to divine truth. A reoccurring phrase that keeps popping up is “teach me the truth no matter the cost.” That is a heavy phrase to speak and believe in your heart. It seems too many people now-a-days are comfortable in their cognitive dissonance and living fake or double lives. Enough is enough! We all need to stand firm and be grounded in truth, because this world is revealing the End Times are upon us NOW. It is not too late to wake-up into the true reality. These words written are to make everyone reading be able to realize change is coming, but most will not be ready because they do not have the truth girdled on their side. It will not be EASY FOR ANYONE, and that is a guarantee. Did not all of Yeshua’s disciples endure heavy persecution as well as heinous deaths? We all may not be in that same boat, but it surely can’t be a guarantee that we are all going to be taken away without enduring some turbulence. The fact is, we were made to STAND-UP for TRUTH and what is RIGHTEOUS!

The majority think “it won’t happen to me” and that is startling to think that way. Recall, the adversary is good at his job, so is it possible that even the wisest of us can be fooled? Matthew 24:24 says that:

For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall show great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.

Think about that, if the ELECT can be deceived, can’t ordinary people following the elect? Recall from Hosea 4:6 that people are “destroyed for a lack of knowledge.” The knowledge of course has to be derived in truth, otherwise it will be false. These elect and those following in the lies will have to face these words from Mathew 7:22-23:

Many will say to Me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in Your name, and in Your name drive out demons and perform many miracles?’ Then I will tell them plainly, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you workers of lawlessness.

No one who tries to follow a righteous path wants to hear those words uttered to them and that is why it is key to continue to seek, seek, and seek!
